Good Little Book By: Kyo Maclear

When the boy in this book is sent to the study to "think things over", he takes a book off the shelf and begins to read.  He is soon carried away by the story and doesn't go anywhere without the book until one day when he loses it.  What will he do without the good little book?

    I like the end of this book because everyone had "The Good Little Book". It started out as a book that the boy wasn't too excited about reading, but in the end everyone was enjoying it. (X.M.)

    I think this book was excellent because it made me feel comforted, happy and sometimes sad. When the boy lost it I was sad and when the girl found it I was happy that someone else got it. (L.M.)

    It teaches you a lesson. The lesson was that sometimes you like a book, but other people might like it too so you have to let them read it and enjoy it. (S.M.)

    I think this book was okay because of the lesson. The lesson is don't judge a book by its cover, you don't know what's inside it yet and if it's good then show it to the world. (S.S.)

    I think this book was very good because of the feeling that it gave me. It was a happy feeling and I really like feeling happy. The part where the boy saw the little book, but let the girl read it made me happy. (M.B.)
