Myles and the Monster Outside By: Philippa Dowding @phdowding

Hi, my name is Jacob. The book review I am doing is Myles and the Monster Outside. In the book Myles moved to a new house in Nobelville.  The story is about the  car trip he takes with his mother, sister and brother to get to the house. Myles is worried. He thinks  a monster is following him and his family. He saw an old man looking for his dog. When he asked if the family had seen the dog,  Myles said  “yes”that he saw his dog,  but the others did not. After meeting the man, they went to a diner.  At the diner,  Myles saw a picture of the old man. He was a ghost and over a hundred years old!  The thing I liked about this book is when Myles became brave.  This is my 2nd favorite Silver Birch book so far.  I was inspired to be brave by this book.  THANK YOU !
