Book six on our Blue Spruce journey is Sam's Pet Temper.
One day at the playground, Sam has to wait and wait for his turn. This makes Sam madder and madder until something unusual appears. This unusual thing runs around, pinches, shoves and stomps until all of the other children leave the playground. Sam and his new and unusual friend have fun together until Sam realizes that his new friend is getting him into trouble. Sam wonders if having a pet temper is such a good idea after all.
