Forest of Reading 2018

Students at Tottenham Public School will soon be participating in the Forest of Reading.  The Forest of Reading is a recreational reading program that promotes a love of reading.  Students in grades 4-8 have been invited to take part in Forest of Reading book clubs.  Grades 4-6 are able to participate in the Silver Birch Express program.  There are 10 books in this program.  The books are a combination of picture books, chapter books and non-fiction books.  Red Maple is the program for students in grades 7 and 8.  To take part in these book clubs, interested students should stop by the library for more information.  At the end of January, kindergarten to grade 3 students will begin enjoying one of the Blue Spruce picture books each week.  All of the Forest of Reading books have been written and illustrated by Canadians.  Keep checking our blog to learn more about the books and our reading journey.
