The Night Gardener By: The Fan Brothers @opifan64 @igo2cairo

Things are dull and sad in William's town until a mysterious man arrives and amazing things begin happening.  Imagine looking out your window and seeing that your tree has been transformed into a wise owl or a dragon.  The night gardener's visits bring colour and excitement to William's community.

    This book is excellent because of the illustrations and the message. At the start it was all very bland and it was like they couldn't notice anything, but when the Night Gardener came he made it enjoyable. (L.M.)

    I loved the change from the beginning where it was very dull and the end when it is beautiful and everyone is happy with the new trees. (R.B.)

    I think this book was excellent because the Night Gardener is sending a message to everyone and that message is telling people that they should pay more attention to everyone and participate in things and don't be gloomy. (E.W.)

    I liked The Night Gardener because of the characters. My favourite character was The Night Gardener because he told the boy a good lesson. Trees don't always have to be trees. (K.J.)

    I liked how at first everything was sad then they turned happy. It shows a message that you can see all around you and you shouldn't always be sad. (T.B.)

    The book was excellent because the Night Gardener tried to embrace that his town could be more cheerful and that trees don't always have to be trees could be anything. (E.G.)
