The Forest of Reading blog is a place for elementary students to connect, discuss and share ideas about the books they are reading as part of the Blue Spruce, Silver Birch Express and Red Maple programs.
It is winter in the forest and there is not a lot of food to be found. Hungry wolves and ravens search for their next meal. Could this unlikely pair help each other fill their tummies?
I think this book was excellent because I liked the message and the lesson about symbiotic relationships between animals. The reason I liked this is because it was interesting and I liked the animals and the birds. (L.M.)
I like the pictures but I think they should have added more information, like more detailed so we can understand what the birds and wolves are doing to help each other. (D.H.)
I think this book was sad because one of the wolves dies and I like wolves. (R.D.)
