Fishermen Through & Through By: Colleen Sydor @ForestofReading

Fishermen Through & Through is our eighth Blue Spruce read aloud.

Peter, Santiago and Ahab are fishermen who spend their lives at sea, but they have dreams. They dream of sand dunes and camels, hot air balloons, and fields full of tulips.  One day while dreaming, they make an extra special catch - a white lobster.  Will this unique lobster give them the chance to fulfill their dreams?

Check out the Blue Spruce tab for images of lobsters.

  1. This was a good book because the fishermen caught a cool lobster. At the end they let the lobster go back to the ocean. This was a good ending. They did the right thing. By: Mrs. Keeler's Grade 1/2s

  2. I think this book was very good because I liked the characters. They made a good choice of putting the lobster back in the ocean instead of getting a lot of money. By: The Jamester
