  1. This book was really funny. It was funny that Max was chasing after the wrong thief and the animals ate all of the food. We liked how Max got mixed up about the thief. The pictures were very colourful. By: Mrs. Keeler's Class

  2. I think this book was very good because Max thought that the bug was the thief, but it was actually the animals. I thought it was funny! By: Rhino

  3. I think this book was good because of the characters. I liked the characters when Max came back with the farmer and found that all the animals were fat. I like this part because Max thought that the blue bug stole all the food, but the animals actually stole all the food. By: Rachy Roo-Hoo

  4. I think this book was excellent because everyone would think that the bug was the thief, but it was the hare, pig, goat and birds! By: A+
