Elephant Journey: The True Story of Three Zoo Elephants and their Rescue from Captivity by: Rob Laidlaw

I think that Elephant Journey is a very important book. I think that the author really showed his passion for helping animals. The book explained why the elephants were being treated badly and not just that “the environment they lived in was bad.” Rob Laidlaw actually explained why the environment in Toronto was poor for the elephants. One of the reasons he pointed out the elephants were being treated poorly was because the elephants were crammed in a tiny space while  they can travel thousands of miles a day in the wild. I recommend this book to any age and to anyone who likes elephants or wants more reasons to prove zoos aren't the best place for animals.
