We're All Friends Here By: Nancy Wilcox Richards @Forestofreading

Our fourth Blue Spruce book is "We're All Friends Here".

Sonny and Arthur have been together since nursery school.  Sonny is careful and quiet, while Arthur is noisy and messy. The two couldn't be more different.  When Arthur isn't on the bus one day, Sonny and Arthur realize how much they actually enjoy being together.

    This book was very good because they were best friends at the end. The pictures were very colourful. It was a little complicated because they didn't understand what the other person was doing. It was funny when Arthur said he would tell Sonny about losing his tooth and all the blood that came with it! By: Mrs. Keeler's Class

    We liked that the book taught us a lesson to get along better with your friends. Before you tell, you should try to solve the problem. Sonny didn't know that Arthur sticks out his tongue when he is thinking and that caused a problem. There was a lot of detail in the pictures - colourful and lots of things in the pictures.     I think this book was excellent because of the message. It tells you two points of view and teaches you about friendship. It teaches you that you may think someone is annoying, but you may then realize that you miss them when they aren't there. By: Mighty Maggi

    I think this book was good because I liked the characters and perspectives in the book. The characters were cool and I liked that they said both perspectives. It showed how both boys felt. By: Lily Bean

    I think this book is very good because of the different opinions. Sonny thought Arthur was being mean and Arthur thought Sonny was good because they feel different. By: A+

    I think this book is very good because of the characters. I liked the characters when Sonny and Arthur were talking about their opinion of each other. Like when Sonny thought that Arthur stole his lunch but he really didn't. By: Rachey Roo Hoo

    I think this book was very good because I like the characters. One is serious and one is innocent, like at lunch time when Sonny thought Arthur stole his brownie. By: Titanic Lover
